harbourCNC offers a fast and reliable CNC cutting service for pick up or delivery.
Our state of the art 3-axis automatic tool changer CNC machine has a bed size of 3.0 m x 1.5 m (10 ft x 5 ft) allowing for even large sheets to be cut quickly and accurately.

How it works...
Using our state-of-the-art 3 axis CNC machine with a bed size of 3.0m by 1.5m (10ft by 5ft) and automatic tool changer, we are able to cut varying materials quickly and extremely accurately.
Our selection of router bits (these are the cutters) gives us the ability to perform a multitude of different operations; cuts, drilling, carving, pocketing, engraving, and much more…
We are able to source the materials for you or we can discuss the supply of your own if they conform to our environmental ethos. We have a large stock of 9mm, 15mm and 18mm of ABP Boards, a non-toxic, carbon-negative, environmentally friendly, agricultural bi-product based boards; a more sustainable and low energy alternative to MDF, OSB, or plywood.
1. Send us your design
After getting in touch with us, send us your files. We can accept a number of different 2D formats. Scale should be 1:1 and in mm but we can adapt if needed!
2. We will give you a quote
We will send you a quote and give you a timeline of the project.
3. Materials & Payment
If you want to go ahead, we can either source the materials for you or you can have your own materials sent to us (material dependent).
We will then take payment (bank transfer, debit card, or credit card)
4. We will cut
We will proceed with imputing your drawings into our CAD/CAM software, nesting if required, and then accurately cutting your parts. We will then prepare them for pickup or delivery!
A more sustainable service
We care about the long-term effects we have on our planet and whilst we work hard to avoid and minimise our mark on the environment and biodiversity, we will never be without impact.
Using a CNC machine (and an optimal nesting software) allows us to minimise any waste material produced from each sheet we cut, saving money for our clients, saving time spent, saving materials used, saving energy required, and reducing the amount going back for recycling.
The materials we choose to cut should conform to our ecological and sustainable ethos. If the option is there, then we would always choose woods or wood based sheet materials that are from well managed, FSC®, and PEFC™ chain of custody certified forest management rules.
We have a large stock of 9mm, 15mm and 18mm of ABP Boards, a non-toxic, carbon-negative, environmentally friendly, agricultural bi-product based boards; a more sustainable and low energy alternative to MDF, OSB, or plywood.
We encourage our suppliers to minimise their use of plastic packing and wrapping.
We do not use any single use plastic wrapping for delivery or pickup.
We use recycled moving blankets when we can and if needed.
For each project we undertake, we make a contribution to Project Seagrass. A charity committed to the conservation of seagrass and the saving our seas.
